I'm very happy to report that the dressing on my foot has been removed and for the first time in two weeks I've been able to get a pair of shoes on. So, when it stops raining I'll be out and about again.
In the mean time I thought I'd do a real cliche shot, the gulls, the setting sun and the pier in the background. Actually, this was really quite frightening because a fisherman, walked up to the shallow water and emptied the contents of a bucket and in a second all the gulls were swooping down to the water and had a bit of a feeding freenzy.
Not quite the birds, but I'm glad there were no telephone boxes around!
LOL!,..sorry, but your story is funny,..I love your seascapes, you have a real skill of capturing the mood. I love the seaside. I'm glad to hear that your foot is healing well.
