After a restless day of having no enthuse to go out to shoot --in the end dragged myself out to the garden --Oooh well a few more flower shots I thought ! but to my amazement after the heavy thundery & hot day the flower beds were amass with flies ,bugs,bees & butterflies . As I was aiming at a Cabbage white butterfly this little beaut flew straight into my shot !! what a happy coincidence & I felt quite happy whizzing & snapping at will --I dare not think what the neighbours think seeing this crazy lady stomping about in the flower beds with her camera !!------who cares !!

Lovely shot and what luck - can confirm that it's a small Tortoiseshell as opposed to the large one which is a little different in markings (and probably in size - lol)
