Anthurium or sometimes commonly known as the Flamingo Flower was one of the plants on special offer yesterday at the Garden Centre -- I was tempted but after Christmas I like to get away from the green and red to a more delicate colour -- ,but the pink and peach coloured plants were nit as strong and healthy looking --so I came home without --consoling myself --the sale price was not that much of a bargain any way ! Another very cold white-over with frost morning -- just about to have my Hair trimmed -- lovely not to have to go out as I have a mobile hairdresser ( she comes to me !!) The 30th of Dec and I am at the end of my 2nd year and will be starting on year 3 on the 1st Jan 2015 ! Doesn't time fly !!
A pretty capture. I have one of these and its been in flower again for the last few months it was last years bargain it said on the label discard after flowering. why? It is white over here too must get out for a few shots . Well done on your second year. I too finish my first year today so here 's to another Happy Snapping year to the both of us.
Congratulations Beryl......onwards to the next year! You were very restrained so a pat on the back for you....not like me in the forty per cent off shop...I did buy something!! Pretty flowers & I like the red but know what you mean, I am more a pastel soft colours in the flower line too.
