Delightful in white

I spotted this flowering plant last Autumn at our local garden centre --I think known as the balloon flower - It was there in both white and a delicate pink . I chose to photo the white as it symbolized the white, clean and the purity of a fresh new year .

Lovely, Beryl - of course I'm trying to visualise it in black and white and going squinty-eyed!

It does have an unusual stigma - maybe thats where the balloon name comes in! Very pure white!

I think it is a Campanula isophylla . Our common name is Star of Bethlehem.
It`s a very old fashion and well know plant. Great shot of it.
Thank you for you so nice and lovely comment on my last pic. I`m very pleased by it.
