The large rhododendron bush in the garden A very wet and windy start to the second day of Summer !! The Garden is saturated and all the blooms covered in raindrops .
I have not being feeling too good over the last month and my mobility deteriorated as the Polymyalgia Rhumatica has flared up since I requested to have a trial period off one of the drugs was in touch with the Rheumatologist yesterday and he has reinstated the drug . I am pleased he gave me the chance to find out for myself whether I would cope minus the drug !! and now will be satisfied to take it again !!
Lovely shot but wish we did not have so many raindrops. Wind and rain here too and so so cold! At least you tried without the medication and know it helps. Hope it starts to work again very soon.
Gorgeous colour and hope you soon feel the benefit of retaking those meds, Beryl. (I cut down (with the psychiatrist's approval) twice on my medication and each time landed in hospital with a BP episode - haven't asked to do it again!!)
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel ! glad someone else has done something similar -- but one doesn't want to take unnecessary drugs especially when they have tremendous side effects unless they are absolutely necessary !! Now I will oblige and go for a blood test monthly to monitor thinks !
Good to know you aren't taking something unnessarily Beryl.......I hope you soon are feeling the benefits of going back on them. Poor flowers in this wet & windy weather!
The raindrops make it look so fresh but definitely tell a story. Sorry to hear you have been suffering Beryl since trying to come off one of your medications. I don't think this weather helps the situation, certainly doesn't in my case! My rheumatologist tried to reduce my weekly dose from 8 tablets to 7 about a year ago as I was doing very well. Unfortunately the symptoms came back with a vengeance and it took me a good while to get the RA under control again. I suppose we should be grateful that the medicines are out there to relieve some of the worst symptoms even with the side effects. Take care Beryl and I hope the drugs kick in again very soon.
Beautiful shot and sorry to hear that reducing your meds caused problems. Now that you are back on them again hopefully things will improve. does the wet weather make your condition worse?
