A little plaque on my garden wall by beryl

A little plaque on my garden wall

A little gift from a friend a few years back -- --the words are so true ! - especially as I look at my garden after quite a lot of neglect these last few years , and the approach of Autumn ! Just wished the garden fairies would get busy !!!!!
Had two appointments at the PR.Hosp today - a) the Physio -- who was pleased with the progress + gave me more exercises ! Then to see the consultant's nurse - just to check progress and the healing of the wound -- next time further x-rays and to see the consultant !
Rather fed up of not to use the arm but keep it in a sling for the six weeks ( A third of the way there !!! )
Fed up of my own space and lack of photo opportunities ! But I must grin and bear it !! 9sorry about the moan ! Thank you and amazed to find my snail on the PP -- must prowl the perimeters to see what else I can find !!

Love this plaque, Beryl. May I use your picture to send it to my sister? She is always busy in her garden. Best wishes to a further recovery.

That is definitely the truth! I say that regardless of the state of your garden, you will always find things to photograph in and around it. Hope all continues to go well for you and just keep clicking :-)

Lovely plaque and so true!

... so true - our garden has been hit with torrential rain but at least it's a little cooler. Congrats on your PP, very well deserved.

so very true! My grandmother had a sign near her garden "Garden of Weed'in!". Beautiful, but it takes lots of work to get them there.

Very true!!

True words on your plaque I find the garden is becoming a burden nowadays too but still enjoy all the flowers and weeds it grows. Hope your arm will soon be well not too long now. Well done with your P.P. snail.

Love the plaque so true and the work grows to fit the time. Glad everyone is pleased with your progress but hard to be patient.
August 24th, 2015
So glad to hear of your continued progress Beryl. A slow but sure crawl back to fitness but exceedingly frustrating not being able to do so much. Never mind you are on track & that's all that mattered!
Never a truer word spoken on that Plaque!

Indeed...great shot

True words on the plaque. Good to hear things are improving slowly but surely for you.
August 24th, 2015
Yes so true Beryl. I share your frustration, I used to do all the gardening but just can't now and my poor husband works such long hours the garden doesn't look as nice as it used to - but can't be helped! Sounds like you're making good progress :)
August 24th, 2015
Glad you are progressing well and feel your frustration at not being to get out and about as much as you would like. Hopefully things will improve for you soon. Lovely plaque and the words are so so true.
August 24th, 2015
Oh, yes, even a simple garden like ours.
August 24th, 2015
That quote is so true and it is a beautiful little plaque! I would give it to tons of my friends if I saw one like this! So sorry you are in a sling for that amount of time but good that you are being managed properly. You will have to have that special cocktail a lot - a Singapore Sling'!
