Aloe ! aloe !! by beryl

Aloe ! aloe !!

I have had one of these plants for ever and a day !! So easy to look after a little water and a little dusting from time to time . A plant that my grandmother called " Mochyn" - welsh for Pig !!! Do not ask me why -- but a name which endeared it to me ! and I always keep a "mochyn " in my house !
Perhaps even I might manage to keep one of these alive. I must try!

Lovely plant. I love plants that are easy to grow. I usually manage to kill them off when they are in pots.

And aren't they wonderful for burns Beryl. I used to have one in my kitchen windowsill but I can't remember where it went! I used to just cut off a bit of fleshy leaf & the healing juice used to ooze out....wonderfully soothing.
