This tall sunflower was the only one in the border outside the pub where I had lunch yesterday It was past its glory yet somehow most appealing with its bowed head . dying petals and a huge pinwheel studded centre full of seeds for the birds !
The weather has changed !! the first of the wet weather days ! -- we have been spoilt of late with glorious sunshine most days !
