I had a lovely day out yesterday as we went to Churchstoke on the Welsh Border . Gary , Alfie and I ( me in my buggy = mobility scooter ) had a walk round the Country Park there . They are in the process of improving the place to the visitors which at the moment is free to enter ! We noticed a number of wood carving statues around the place , some obviously not located in their right places yet This wood carving will I assume be near the entrance as it has Country Park carved on its base and it would be near where the deers roam !
Over the next few days I will include other wood carved life size animals which I photographed !
When we got down to the Park I realized I had left my camera in the car and only had my small camera with me in my bag , and as this one has no viewfinder , the sun was out making it difficult to view ,a lot of the photos were taken "blind" !! AND, the battery was on empty !! Not a good start !! Anyway I did what I could under the circumstances (I could kick myself !!)
In spite of this -I enjoyed the outing ! and vowed to go back fully equipped quite soon !
Wow! That is a nice wood carving and shot! Definitely know that feeling of getting somewhere and forgetting the camera or not having the correct equipment.
