Patching up !

The "boss" came out to inspect my damaged lawn , and was very apologetic for the mess caused by his workman , he proceeded to ,scarify , and reseeded the patch for me , gave me enough seeds so when I scarify or rather Gary scarifies the rest of the lawn, I will have seeds to repair any thin patches And , I will have the next Autumn/winter lawn treatment free . - better for them than loosing my custom I believe !! Do I sound cynical !!!

I would have thought that they could have at least put turf down instead of giving you seed to replace the damage. After all the damage was instantaneous so the repair should have been the same.

In our country we would fix it with turf/sod, so it`s nearly ready made ( Abouth three weeks.)
