The Wrekin

A watercolour I painted some years ago of the local landmark - the hill named The Wrekin . This I painted in the early summer when the rape-fields were fierce yellow and the wild flowers were growing in the fields. I painted two complimentary paintings but as my friend liked them so much -I gave her the one painting . This one hangs in my hallway , and unfortunately there is some reflections on the glass of the painting !!
It has been a busy morning - last evening I had a message from my GP for an urgent blood test - so picked up the form the GP's this morning and to the hospital for the bold test - Shall have to phone for the results tomorrow before I go away on Sat ! -- It's all go !! when you could do without it !!
