Ooh wow Beryl, there they are! Such a families but sorry sight. We have the same happening here, they can't get them up fast enough! We just heard that a builder in the village has got some houses passed & to get into the area they have to destroy a Pinfold. This is a lively small area surrounded by a wall where they used to keep the sheep on market day. How on earth are they allowed to do that? I have heard no word of discount from anyone in the village yet but we have only just heard so we shall see. Probably too late now to complain. Wouldn't mind if they were house young ones could afford! All over £300,000 here!
Cool shot. I hate to see pictures like this. With all the building going on in Malta we are going to be engulfed by all these structures and there will be nowhere where you can go to breathe some fresh air. so that is why I hate pictures of buildings going up.
@sangwann Me too Dione !!! my view of the field always reminded me of being on the edge of the country side - now all I see is a concrete/ brick jungle with the green land and the natural habitat for wildlife just GONE !! !!
I do hope these houses look attractive once they’re finished. Sadly the country is desperately short of houses but it’s a shame new ones can’t always be built on waste ground.

Low temperatures here (18C) and just a little bit of rain; very welcome.
In our ciy (country) they build the new ones in old and open places in the city as much as possible.
