Outside the Library - just before the downpour

On my way from the library yesterday afternoon the skies went dark and eventually the heavens opened . A sharp but quite short shower !! Today again hot humid and sunny ! ( best on black )


I have just come home from a Hospital appointment for a echocardiogram - I know I have an enlarged heart but hope they will not find anything else !

Now for feet up and perhaps 40 winks !!

Lovely hanging baskets against the dark sky. My husband has an enlarged heart as well but he is a runner so they are not too concerned. My dog had an enlarged heart and had good health for many years. I hope it all goes well for you, Beryl and that you get monitored and the medical attention you need. Breathe and Take care.

@beryl They say you need to be brave to age but what is the alternative? My husband says he want to be healthy, healthy, healthy, dead. However, that way is a shock to others...there is no right answer...it is in God's hands. We all just have to do the best we can but I wish the attention and medical treatment was better and that it didn't come down to money and status.
