The Sun Worshipper . by beryl

The Sun Worshipper .

The tall yellow rudbeckias are swaying gently in the breeze and all facing the sun . The drought doesn't seem to bother them . They make a lovely splash of colour in my garden !
Just been to do a spot of shopping in spite of being very breathless -- the chest Xray I had the other day showed not only an enlarge heart but also ,partial collapse of one lung -- the G P has referred me to see a consultant but have to go on a waiting list - If I went to Dudley ( some distance ,and no mode of transport , was not viable !) - would be able to see a consultant within a month ! If I chose Telford ( on the doorstep ) there is a waiting list of at least 12 months !! so I chose Shrewsbury and have an appointment at the end of Nov !! -- A bit worrying and I hope the breathlessness doesn't get much worse in the meantime ! Oh ! the delight of getting older !
Wow what a stunning splash of colour Beryl

This is lovely. My goodness it does seem you could get transportation to the appointment that is sooner. November is such a long time. I’m so sorry. I hope the wait will not make the condition worse.

Take care Beryl, such a long wait.

Lovely capture

Oh Beryl that isn't good news! So sorry you aren't well, this hot weather won't help you either if I was nearer I would take you into Dudley with pleasure, I love to drive so it wouldn't have been any problem. Just go slow until November & keep in the cool. Beautiful flowers giving you good cheer!

This is a lovely vibrant cheery bloom! I am so sorry you are in need of some TLC and the wait is so long! Not being able to catch your breath is a scary thing. I hope you have some access to oxygen in case you need it while you wait. Getting older brings new challenges...hang in there and take good care!!! Fav.

Super capture, details

Your flower pictures are a joy. Your health news is a bummer. Here in the states you can ask to be put on a waiting list in case someone cancels. Sometimes it works to get you in earlier. We shall hope. November seems a long way away when you aren't feeling up to par.

Lovely close up.

Quite worrying health issues, hope you can get them sorted soon. Transport can be difficult. I was booked in for surgery next Tuesday in Sydney, but had to cancel because David has hospital appointments in Newcastle on Monday which means we can't go to Sydney that day for the 7 am surgery on Tuesday. Will now have to wait for another date.

Lovely flower and shot, they should get rid of the penpushers Beryl, my wifes blind in one eye and it’s took two years to get them to sort it, she goes in next month to get it fixed, we have both worked all our life and they even said she should pay for the op herself.

Lovely image, Beryl, fav. Very sorry about your health problems...the NHS is difficult, so long to wait. I had to go private for my ears. Still haven't heard from referral from GP, so best I did that this week.
