My favourite lavender ., bright and quite compact .This year I have planted a whole row of this along the wall in the front garden . intercepted with pink geraniums . I hope the lavender will grow and be a permanent feature in the border to cut down on annual planting . A lovely day , but a bit "muggy" !!!
@craftymeg I love Lavender - I have a small dish of cedarwood balls douched in lavender-oil in my bedroom - lovely calming effect and beautiful fresh perfume !
Good you’re thinking ahead to less work Beryl & you picked a great permanent plant fir that border. My favourite lavender too, I like the old fashioned look of it & of course just wonderful with pink.
Your lavender hedge will give a lovely display in the years ahead I have had some lavender for years and give it a good tidy up at the end of the year to rejuvante it. Love the deep colour of this variety you have.
It is a very pretty flower. The pink geranium makes a nice combination. I hope that would grow around here. I'd like to have some. I bet it smells good.
