This is one of the black stemmed variety which I only purchased last year in the sale at the end of the season .. I am quite pleased to see it in flower this year especially as I planted it last Autumn and this Spring I decided it was not in the right spot- so the poor thing was uprooted and replanted in a spot where I can see it from the garden room and the Kitchen .
It’s beautiful Beryl, I love hydrangeas, I have one in its second year & it’s doing really well, shall show you perhaps tomorrow! Not sure whether mine has black stems as it’s in a big pot & I can only see the flower tops....must have a root & check.
