My handyman arrived as arranged - yesterday morning he put up a new curtain rail and hung up the curtains for me in Gary's room . and today he has put shelving in one of the alcoves . I hate having workmen in the house , but Steve-s hours suit me rather well , because at the weekend he has come for 3 hours on each of the mornings

We all need a handy man like Steve, some men are good at stuff like that, mine isn’t! I am wondering if Steve knew you were taking his photo, I suspect not as he looks unaware or a good actor! Have a good rest Beryl, no need to comment!
You are so lucky to have him! We had Walter, he had the opportunity to do some large projects and decided he liked that better. We haven’t found anyone else!
Lovely triptych. Normally I do jobs like this myself - I prefer it than wasting my time looking at the workman to make sure he makes the thing exactly like I wanted. In fact I am the handyman of the family.
@sangwann I hate having workmen in Dione , and when my late husband was alive we did all the odd jobs ourselves but of late my health will not allow me to do a lot of the jobs that I was quite capable of doing in the past . Ha ! I agree a lot of time wasting and frustration watching others doing it right and to your standard ! !!
