Hot lips by beryl

Hot lips

The Salvia- Hot lips is flowering again after I trimmed it back after the first flush of flowers ! Just had a lazy day . My neighbour gave me some wind fall apples , so I made a batch of apple sauce and froze in portions to use the most bruised ones - so handy as I love it with chicken as well as pork !
Dry morning so my decorators did a few hours before the rain came !
Beautiful close up shot, Beryl.

Hot lips...I love it, the perfect name! I have so many apples Beryl, I am trying to give them away but most people aren’t interested! Apple sauce is not eaten in our house...apple pies are though!

I love those. Love your details and DoF. We have one in our yard. I’m afraid it grows like a weed, so hubby is not quite as appreciative as me (being the resident trimmer).
