A month ago - the small leaves were gorgeous green and the berries plentiful ,but by today the leaves re turning brown and the berries mostly gone ! - the blackbird has had days of feasting here . A week or two more the skeletal branches will be bare ! ( best on black ,if you have time ! )
A horrible rainy day , with no reason to go outside today !

This photo reminds me of the one at our gatepost...it’s full of berries...we think it’s ours as it goes over our wall. I will take a photo tomorrow! You’re right about the weather Beryl!
It must be lovely to see all the different stages of this beautiful plant in your garden. Won't be long until it goes to sleep for the winter and then you can look forward to it all beginning again in Spring.
I love the way cotonesters grow and they are so pretty all year round with their blossom and then the berries.Yours is still looking good and great the blackbird was able to enjoy it.Fav
