I have a few Dunnocks in the garden , they busily flutter about and rarely oblige in standing still for me to capture ,, but this little one did !
Dare I mention the weather again (it is for my own record ,and not intended to bore you all !! ) Woke up to a light shower of hail , later a few flakes of snow in the wind , but now the sun is trying to break through ! I hope for a better day !

A dry but cold week ahead says Countryfile forecast...I am finding it chilly but I soon feel the cold. Beautiful little bird Beryl....I don’t know whether I would know a dunnock if I saw one in the garden.
@sangwann - they do look very similar at a glance , till you see the beak - the sparrows have a stubby little beak while the dunnock has a longer and slim beak !
