This day is a light hearted day when pranks and jokes are played on friends I do not know for certain of how it all began -- but it is noted back to the Roman times !

Many years ago our little granddaughter who lived far away from us in an other part of the country, gave us a call and told her granddad that his car had a flat tyre. He asked her how she knew that and she answered that on April Fool's day some people were clairvoyant... I think she was five years old at that time.
