Out of the mist

A day started with bright sunshine then a little later things turned for the worst with misty fine snow and hailstone ( the little white ones which we call "crasod " in Welsh !)
We call the little tiny icy balls “sleet”. Lovely photo, Beryl!

@louannwarren thanks Lou Ann but we call rain mixedr with usually big flakes of ( sloppy) snow . Just Google it and a mixture of as snow and hail is called graupel - a word I have never heard of !!

Lovely shot and processing. I like the word "crasod". That is what we have been experiencing over the weekend, but I could only describe this as fine snowflakes and fine snow pellets. Now, I have a word to call this.
