@annied Thanks for the info. Annie - I had never heard them called peony- poppies They grew in my parent's garden - this colour and a sugar-pink colour and these have resulted from seeds gathered from those plants - I gather seeds annually and scatter them -- but I think they do better as self setters !!
They are stunning Beryl...the colour is vivid, loads of frilly petals & loads of buds coming up! I’ve jus5 been out watering & noticed some massive pale pink peonies I must remember to look properly tomorrow.

ahhh I just had a google - they are peony poppies - I have not heard of them - just peony or poppy - not combined
