This is the view looking straight up inside the Portal Of The Folded Wings Shrine To Aviation. The curved areas above and below the dome of stars are the tops of 2 of the 4 arches which form the portal.
I shot a pic while holding the camera and could not get the entire dome, even with the lens at its widest setting of 18mm. Instead I placed the camera on the ground and had to guess if it was centered within the portal then shot the image using the self timer.
