The Bane Of Citydwelling Life

Nearly got a ticket today at this meter. Had just pulled out of a fast food establishment's drive-thru and parked on the street to have a quick bite. The neighborhood is very industrial and all the local shops were closed so I didn't think twice about parking there. While stopped, a city meter reader came up and was about to give me a ticket. After a lecture, he let me go by letting me put 25¢ in the meter.

Interesting! i wounder why you would have to pay if all the shops are closed? ..yet for some reason it doesnt surprise me!! Glad you got off of the ticket cheep!
