Odd legs!

Day 316 - I came across this little bird/duck at a lake we were walking around, they were quite shy (other than when I threw some food for them)! but it was the strange green legs and feet that attracted my attention the most!

@suzanne234 Thank you for the identification, I don't know how they manage to run so quickly on land!
@gaylewood It's funny I've been to this lake before but I'd never noticed them before.
@ludwigsdiana Prehaps your water is cleaner than outs!
@gemmabrowne I don't know how they manage to run so fast and they swim in a really funny way, they don't glide like ducks.

Moorhens do have disproportionately large feet and legs - one I phographed had white legs!
