Day 73 - I really must stop getting my husband to make a detour while out driving, to the charming village of Chilham in Kent, as it inevitable ends up with us visiting 'Shelly's Tea Rooms' where we partake in a delicious cream tea! surrounded by a lovely old building, complete with original features such as old beams and lead light windows.
@suzanne234 He struggled to finish the 2 delicious warm scones! π @ludwigsdiana It is packed full of original features π @gillian1912 I suppose I must reward him for being my chauffeur π @chrisiow Always lots of homemade cake on offer π @dlovinger It certainly was! π
Oh, I'd love to visit an English village like this and have tea and scones in an actual English "Tea Room"! That would be such an adventure for me. :-)
@gardenfolk They are original lead lights and are all uneven π @gaylewood If your ever in the UK you would find loads of places that do cream teas, you'd be spoilt for choice π
