Day 25 - We went for a drive to our favourite place Elmley Nature Reserve on the lookout for birds, imagine my surprise when my husband spotted a squirrel hopping around, once I focused in on it imagine my surprise to find it was actually a stoat (the first I've ever seen)! We watched it running around and then realised what it was doing - it was chasing a rabbit, which it eventually caught and killed, it then proceeded to drag it back to it's den, it's strength was amazing!
totally fantastic shot!!!!! it may surprise you to know I watch a lot of documentaries when I do watch anything, and only just this past week I watched one that had a section about stoats and they were fascinating. Now you saw one in full action - WOW!
