No rain down here! by bigmxx

No rain down here!

Day 275 - Today we went to the Prehistoric Caves - Kent’s Caverns in Torquay. The caves have almost always been occupied and have had three different species of human dwelling in them for over half a million years, the oldest inscription found dates back to 1571. They were also home to animals such as cave bears, cave lions, scimitar cats, hyenas and woolly mammoths.
Love Kents Cavern! We walked all the way there from Shaldon on the very steep cliff paths once - exhausting!! But the caverns were great. Lovely photos
