Frick Steam Engine by bill_fe

Frick Steam Engine

My friend Doug took me to several places on Sunday that were quite photogenic. This is off the beaten path. There are quite a few farm and industrial implements in various states of restoration. This particular Steam Engine caught my eye because of the unusual nameplate. I suppose in George's time, his last name didn't have the connotation it does today.
I really like the composition and the choice of editing in black-and-white. Nice detail to the shot

@gigiflower it was cold and windy. I'll need to go back when it's warmer out.

@bill_fe I couldn't imagine being outdoors in the weather you describe!

@gigiflower I just wasn't dressed for the cold and wind. It started out warmer. There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.Actually, I don't like hot and humid, there is only so much clothing you can remove.

@bill_fe Oh I hate our Summer too!!! Don't deal with the extreme heat we have over here. We are now in our Autumn - it's so beautiful and wonderful!
