The iconic Swilkan Bridge

The bridge leads up to the 18th green in St Andrews. The old Course is in the last stages of preparation for the 150th Open. The red sandstone building behind the stand on the right is the Hamilton Grand, luxury apartments I am informed.When I was a student here ( many years ago) it was a female hall of residence….. and very difficult for us males to enter!
