I understand less and less all the time. Take any issue and these days people line up on two sides of a line and act as though there is no other possible place to stand than their spot. People seem so certain they are right.
When I take pictures, the world seems like and entirely different place. It is a place of wonder, a place of many possibilities, a place where things that seem ugly to some have a certain appeal if seen from the right angle. There is beauty almost everywhere and in almost everything.
I have a lot of questions and few answers. The older I get the more questions I have. I thought that was supposed to be the other way around. I wouldn't mind hearing some answers that satisfied my soul. I'm open to it. I'm looking for it. I'm going to keep looking.
I think as we get older we have more time to think and be open to new discoveries! The world of photography extends beyond the realm of reality! A wide open scene!

Wonderful image - and I so identify with your thoughts. It reminds me of why I shake my head every day at the news, and turn it off. It will not bring me the answers...I think we come closer to hearing them when we pick up the camera and see the world differently as you describe...at least I feel closer to truthfulness in those moments of my day.
