@lindag I used a 105mm macro. I was out looking for bugs and the mosquitoes were the worst I've seen them this year. Actually, there have been very few even though it's been wet. He landed on my left finger, close to the knuckle. I needed to have the shutter speed higher because I was basically turning my left hand to get the shot and taking the photo with my right. @aspada he did not, in fact, bite the dust. He should not have to eat for days.
This is definitely something I would not do to get a shot. You are amazing Bill. :-) Still can't believe you let him drink you blood and then fly away!
