Had a wonderful day yesterday. Day started with a lazy start and Becka dropped us off at the station. We strolled up to convent garden and decided to go to Jamies Italian for lunch. DELICIOUS. We shared Italian Nachos - Crispy fried ravioli stuffed with three cheeses, served with arrabbiata & Parmesan
and Pork Scratchings - With spiced fennel salt & orchard dipping sauce.
For Mains I had- Turkey Milanese
Stuffed with prosciutto & fontal cheese, breadcrumbed & fried with a free-range egg & wild truffle
AND Dessert Chocolate & Hazelnut Arctic Roll - Chocolate sponge rolled with chocolate & espresso semi freddo, served with chocolate shavings & butterscotch sauce
And my favourite drink to finish Italian Limoncello
Afterwards we went shopping as looking for canvas shoes for holiday. Found some Uggs but ordered online as saved so much so looking forward to those arriving :-)
We went into the Kipling shop on the way to the theatre, Hubby offered to buy me a Kipling bag so have emailed him the couple that I like so he can decide which one :-) He'll probably do that when he is in Saudi next time.
Enjoyed a cider before heading into the theatre to see Carmen.
Wow! You lived up to your tag name today! Sounds like so much fun- but I had to skip the menu as I've just had dinner and I don't want to be hungry again with all those delicious sounding things you had! Fun shot!
