My Dad

This week for the 52 week challenge is portraits, something that I'm not confident in. Any comments on how to improve my portrait photos will be most welcomed as I do want to try and improve my skills this year.

Very nice indeed for the portrait week! Isn't it great that the challenge makes us do shots that we are not so comfortable with? I usually would say to pick a background color that makes the skinniness stand out a bit - something non-brownish, but in this shot, it all ties together with the brown tones in the sweater - very harmoniously.
