@ziggy77@tristansmum Thank you, Jo and Stephanie! Yes, I had called to him and he had just spun around and was on his way to me when I snapped this. I was a bit surprised, as he usually prefers to stick close to Ken's side (who was also outside but pushing a wheelbarrow full of wood at the time). Needless to say, I felt a bit flattered! :-)
@sansjuan Thank you, Nita! Yes, the severe cold can be hard on a doggie's feet. He's not outside for very long at one time when it is well below zero. The dog mushers here put polar fleece booties on their dogs to protect them, but those dogs are out for hours daily training for the big dog races.
