High Atop A Power Pole

I was surprised to watch our resident squirrel race up the power pole in our backyard. There was no threat in sight that I could see. Our noisy dog was inside. Mr. Squirrel went all the way to the top and sat there, observing his domain, I guess. lol

They were the cause of more transformers being blown where I use to live than any storm we had. Don't know what intrigued them with power poles.
