A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood

Yesterday evening I came across this scene on the way to a Spring Flute Recital where Melody's Mom was playing.She is taking lessons from a teacher at Alberta College.
The recital was wonderful and I took the time to take a couple of shots on our way home.
The lack of grass is due to the fact that the city has just put in brand new sidewalks in this area. However the lilacs and the trees and green grass in the yards makes up for it
