Well we received our first snow warning of the season last night. They said that the rain would turn to snow overnight. So on the way to work this morning a few flakes were starting to fall and then this is what I saw as I left work this afternoon.
After I took this shot I decided that this reminded me of something I would see around Christmas time and not a couple of days after Thanksgiving.
The good news is that by the weekend we should be back to normal fall weather
while this is indeed very beautiful, I still am partial to the current 95 degree F weather we have here in Arizona in the States...wonderful color composition here!!
Absolutely stunning - my lifelong ambition is to have a White Christmas. My American friends think I'm nuts! Love seeing the snow and great capture of it.
@natr Thanks Nat. So I take it you are from a place where the climate is nice and warm and sunny. Having grown up with a whole lot of White Christmases I think we need to do somekind of holiday exchange haha
Looks like a Christmas card! Beautifully caught. We just had a skiff and it was gone by the time I got off work today. Mid to upper teens (Celsius) on the weekend for us.
This is the second picture of early snow. I saw another one where she posted roses with lots of snow on top...for my liking its way too early. glad it didn't stay around as nice as it looks on your picture.
yowsers! i do think there's no going back to that pesky summer anyway, so why don't we just accept the fact that the snow has arrived. in edmonton, not in toronto. :-P
@summerfield Well at least it went away and we did get in some nice days again. However they are talking about the chance of snow once again for this weekend
Love the different colors in this pic. of white , red and green.
