Around The World--Moraine Lake

So in 2008 we had celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Afterwards we had planned on going on a second honeymoon. Our plan was to make our way to Victoria BC. It is interesting how sometimes we have no control over the plans we make. We never made it there when we got married and we never got there on this trip either.
We ended up in Canmore. On one of the days we decided to go for a drive and made our way to Lake Louise. On the way there you pass by Moraine Lake which is an absolutely beautiful spot. We took the time to go for a walk and of course take some nice pictures. Well maybe we will make it to Victoria one of these days

I've been in Victoria some years ago (think it even was 2008!) It's a great city, but there is so much beauty around BC that I can imagine you just don't arrive there!

You have got to make Victoria while you are still active! Its really beautiful and humming, particularly in summer. We stayed at Lake Louise too and I went walking around it just like here but got nervous as they had said be very wary of bears!!!!
