Today we had a few errands to run and once those were done it was off to Churchill Square to take in The Taste of Edmonton. This is a food festival featuring over 30 different restaurants in Edmonton. They each feature a couple of items off of their menus.
We had a nice time despite the storm clouds. The rain did hold off. Then it was off to the City Market which is an outdoor Farmer's Market. Unfortunately we were not so lucky with the rain there. However we still took time to visit some of the vendors and come away with some nice fresh vegtables
Gorgeous pic - lovely storm clouds. Glad you got to at least one of the markets without being rain affected. I adore farmer's markets - we have one here on the first Saturday of every month.
Wow, those are really stormy looking clouds. Love your photo, Brian. Sounds like a fun time at the food fest and at least the rain waited till you were getting your produce.
We should never let the weather stop us doing anything. So often when the forecast is bad it turns out not so bad after all (and sadly vice versa!!) Hope the produce tasted good.
Sounds like a good day for shopping in spite of the rain. I meant to get over to the "vegetable lady" this Saturday and completely forgot because I don't have a car. It wasn't till we went out that evening and passed her sign that I remembered! Oh well, next week.
Love those street festivals. we have some coming up soon. always nice to try different foods. Love the spot of red in your picture of this street scene.
Wish our place LLanelli, could do the same, the council don't make the effort.
