Then and Now Trestle Bridge by bkbinthecity

Then and Now Trestle Bridge

So since I am still feeling a bit under weather I have not been taking any photos. So I came across these shots I took on a walk sometime ago through the Mill Creek Ravine.
Part of the trail takes you across a trestle bridge. On the left is the construction of that bridge. On the right is what that bridge looks like today.
The bridge was built in 1902 as part of the Edmonton Yukon and Pacific Railroad. I posted some shots a while back of a steam train and the history of the railroad.
Have a great weekend everyone

This diptych is fascinating. I like to be able to see the comparison -- looking over a hundred years later. I also like the way you've framed the two photos together.
