Today marks the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. So I thought it would be nice to use this picture as a tribute. This was part of a mural in the museum at Millet. They had a small section honoring the people from Millet who had served in the military over the years. So to those who landed on the beaches of Normandy that day we thank you. We remember those who died that day as well as the ones who lived and went on to continue to fight in the battles that lay ahead until victory was finally achieved.
