Rail Days....In Business Since 1908

So this is the Canadian Pacific Railway Station. It was built in 1908 to replace the C & E Railway Station. I posted a shot of the replica of that one a couple of days ago.
This station cost $24,000 to build and had seperate waiting rooms for men and women as well as a smoking lounge.
This is one of the few stations left in Alberta. Since it closed as a station it has been used as a restaurant and lounge for many years

Nice shot. Great building. I'm glad that they used it for a restaurant instead of leaving it empty and abandoned like some places get left behind.

It's nice to see these old buildings still being used in good ways.

I like this...... That snow on the roof, the shade and the sunlight..... And so glad they haven't torn this historic building down. It's been recycled!

Interesting history of this great building! Glad it's still in use. Really nice photo, and I like the large pine trees at the side.

Very interesting building and history. It doesn't seem very practical for a family traveling together to use separate waiting rooms for the men and women--different day and age!

Very nice. What a lovely looking large station. A restaurant sounds like a wonderful thing to use it for.
