So I have seen so many amazing butterfly shots from so many people on 365.
I have always wanted to do one of my own but with no success unti now that is.
Okay this may be stretching it a bit but we came across this butterfly as part of a spring display at West Edmonton Mall today
Nice spring colors. Hey,,, it IS a butterfly, so that has to count! Looks like the mall is thinking the snow will end and spring will finally arrive one of these days.
Great shot. And it counts as a butterfly! It's nice they have the Spring display up, but it's not Spring yet! The snow hasn't even started melting yet!
Very nice. I have always been disappointed with my butterfly shots. Porbably haven't posted one shot in 5 years. I could have taken this challenge if I were there, too.
How nice to see these signs of Spring. Such an imaginative display, I really love all of the butterflies! Not to mention, the topiaries are delightful. A beautiful, beautiful shot. :) Your mall is amazing!
I was really disturbed to hear about the young gal who attended Coe College here in Cedar Rapids, and then made it up your way only to be arrested for threats against your mall. I was so worried about you two, and concerned, too, because we have a similar connection in that I'm in the Ceda Rapids area, and enjoy all of your pictures. I thought, what are the chances that there are many people around here who have a similar connection? Your mall is very famous, though, so I'm hoping it was just an unfortunate coincidence, It really freaked me out for a bit of time, though. I'm so glad you are all safe! I'm so sorry you had to deal with those worries. I'm so glad to still be able to enjoy the incredible shots of your beautiful mall.
@gratefulness Unfortunately this mall does get threats on different occasions. The good part is that we do have very good security and over the years nothing has ever been carried through on. Thanks for your concern
If that doesn't make you feel like Spring..what will? yes, today, and I'm late in commenting, is the first day where I can say Spring is close. our temp. went up to 7 degrees. wow. great shot, Brian.
