Prince of Wales Armoury by bkbinthecity

Prince of Wales Armoury

Today we spent a good part of the afternoon and evening visiting Melody's Dad in the hospital I saw this building from the window and just had Togo for a walk and get a shot of it.Edmonton has a few old armouries still being used today. Of course they all have a different use today than their original use. This one like the others in the city were built at the outbreak of World War I
This particular one now houses a couple of small museums as well as the City Archives
Fantastic picture.

Great vintage-looking building. I like it when new uses are found for old buildings, so that they aren't torn down and so that some of our history is rescued from destruction.
