Frozen In Time.....Statues of Edmonton. Here Comes The Judge

Located on the Victoria Promenade walkway are four busts of local residence.
Lucien Dubuc arrived in Edmonton from Manitoba at the turn of the century. By 1920 he had been appointed a district court judge and would eventually become Chief Justice for Northern Alberta
He holds the distinction of being the first judge in Alberta to allow proceedings in French. This occurred in 1924
