Frozen In Time.....Statues of Edmonton Madame Director

Well this will bring my statue series to an end. Another shot from the Victoria Promenade walkway.
Maude Bowman had a huge influence in the field of art in this city for over 30 years.
In 1923 she became the first president and director of the first Museum of Art here in Edmonton. She was responsible for putting together numerous exhibits.
In 1934 with help from the Carniege Foundation an education program for children was started which continues even to this day.
