Yesterday Melody had to go see an eye specialist. When we got up to the office which was on the eleventh floor and I saw the large windows I knew I was going to be able to capture some nice shots.
Here is one of them. Now back to the specialist. It turns she has been having ocular migranes. Had never heard of it before. It doesn't cause her headaches but rather she experiences flashes of coloured light every once in awhile. Now we will wait and see what our regular doctor suggests
Wonderful view Brian, fav for me. It sounds as if Melody is having what I have, the migraine aura without the actual headache, thank goodness. My mother and one of my brothers also have this. It starts as a circle of zig-zag lights which expands for perhaps half an hour and then goes away. Vision is not great while it's going on, but neither my optometrist nor my GP seems to think it's a serious problem--hope Melody gets a similar verdict.
Lovely view. Hope Melody gets some relief soon. David gets the same thing and he has to take aspirin when it happens to thin his blood. That usually works.
What a great view! Looks like a pretty day! I do hope Melody's eye issues are resolved very soon. Glad you're getting some answers about her condition.
Fantastic shot, Brian! I hope Melody's eye problems are resolved soon. I have never experienced the ocular migraines but I do suffer from migraine headaches on a regular basis. They are no fun at all.
I hope a brilliant solution presents itself, it must be at the very least annoying to have her vision interrupted but scary too I bet. I really love the upper half of this shot with the clouds and the buildings and the roof top, and then on the streets you've captured little figures too! awesome.
@aglennc My eye problem just turned out to be a broken blood vessel, not a problem at all. It was just very red, and we didn't know why. Didn't but...........
I hope Melody is soon able to get suitable treatment for her condition.
