Story Time....The lights are off the party is over
So today l took a series of photos downtown. Join me as l share them over the next few days.
It starts as l was making my way to City Hall.
Located at the centre of downtown is Churchill Square. During the holiday season a 72 ft tree is set up and decorated. I usually take a shot of it at night all lit up. This year I was so busy l missed it.
So this is what you get.
Tomorrow we will check out the fire that is burning on the other side
Looking forward to your tour. I spent time in Edmonton probably two decades ago and can't recall much detail at all, so hopefully your images will conjure up some recognition. I'm a little surprised there's no snow given that places like North Carolina are buried here in the lower 48.
We put away our decorations yesterday. At this very moment we are at my daughter's house helping her to put her's away pending another Christmas. Lovely shot.
It does look a little lonely, but at least you got a photo of it. I forgot to take one of our tree and took it as we were undecorating it. Looking forward to your photo tour.
@stray_shooter Ron not sure if you will recognize anything from these photos. Over time l may post somthings you recognize. We haven't had a lot of snow this winter
